NeedAMap is an AI-powered battle map generator designed for tabletop RPG game masters. You describe a scene, and we generate a top-down battle map suitable for use in virtual tabletop platforms. The service is intended for personal use for tabletop games.

User accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use NeedAMap. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, let us know immediately.

Acceptable use

NeedAMap is for personal use in tabletop RPG games. You may not resell generated maps as stock art or commercial assets. You may not use the service to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

Generated content

You retain the right to use maps you generate in your personal tabletop RPG games, including sharing them with your players. NeedAMap may display anonymized examples of generated maps in our public gallery or marketing materials, with your permission. You can opt out of this at any time.

Free tier and limitations

We offer a free tier with a limited number of map generations. The specifics of the free tier (number of generations, available models, storage limits) are subject to change. We'll notify you of significant changes to the free tier.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If your account is terminated, you'll lose access to your generated maps. You can delete your account at any time from your settings.

Disclaimers

NeedAMap is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the service running and the maps high quality, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect output every time. Generated maps are for personal game use and are not guaranteed to be suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeedAMap's total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
