What we collect

When you create a NeedAMap account, we collect your email address — either directly or through your sign-in provider (such as Google or Discord) - for authentication. We store the battle maps you generate, along with the prompts used to create them. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to understand how people use the product and where we can improve it.

How we use it

Your email is used for account management and important service updates. Your generated maps and prompts are stored so you can access your library. Usage data helps us improve the product, fix bugs, and understand which features matter most. We never sell your personal data.

Third-party services

We use Supabase for authentication and database storage. Generated map images are stored on Cloudinary. Payments are processed by Stripe. Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies. The only cookie we set is for your authentication session, which keeps you signed in. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Data retention

Your generated maps are stored until you choose to delete them. Account data is retained while your account is active. To request account deletion, contact us at support@needamap.app.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings. You can request a full export of all your maps and account data. You can delete your account permanently, which removes all your data from our systems, by contacting us at support@needamap.app. If you have questions about your data, contact us.
